davidivad Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) i see the subject from more of a field theory perspective. consider a small cube of space. it contains a huge amount of potential energy in it. in fact it has two opposing fields of energy in it. one is just barely more than the other resulting in a very slight leftover energy. this leftover is dark energy. spacer expands in a fight to get back to zero. as you might imagine the result is an ever faster expanding expanse of space.
