A ) INDEED the speed of electromagnetic waves in vaccum is same.... 3×10^8.their speed only changes when medium changes.

D).THE FREQ of infra red is greater than u.v ...

Since you got that one wrong, can you say why B and C are wrong?

B is wrong bcz longitudinal waves cant be polarised because they travel in only one plane .....

C is wrong bcz the relationship isnt correct the amp squared is directly proportional to the intensity not the energy....

B and c are both wrong...

But A AND D are both correct :/

Infra is Latin for below and ultra is Latin for above, when referring to the frequency spectrum.

 

Is the wavelength of red longer (greater) than or shorter (less than) blue-violet?

 

So is the frequency of red less than or greater than blue-violet?

Wwavelength of red is longer than blue .. I seee where I was making mistake. ... the freq of u.v is greater than infra.... which crosses D and the ans much be A
