VB & C++ resources please

Featured Replies

I am not studying Computer Science at the moment but knowing some C++ and Virtual Basic fundamentals could come in very handy when I finish varsity. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good web resources about the two languages and/or any good books even so I could teach myself. I am not tatally new to programming since I have had a lot of exposure to Java so I know the basics about things like OOP and stuff. Actually if anyone knos any good resources about Java too, that would also be much appreciated. Thanks very much in advance.

Read the help file and work your way through using Microsoft VB editor, or the C++ one, i forget its name, google it.

Start with macros, and work your way up. Thats how i learnt anyway.
