I would like to know how I can make vegetable glycerin. I want to make it from coconut oil, I'm interested to find out if there is a process that doen't use lye and isn't too complicated. I want to use it for e-liquid. Can someone please help?

I'm reading that you can produce it from oil directly, with high enough pressures and temperatures. Realistically I'm guessing it would be better/cheaper to buy it instead.
