Weightless in the center of the Earth?

Featured Replies

If you tunneled to the center of the earth and hollowed out an area in the very middle (ignoring the heat, magma, etc.). Would you, in the center, feel weightless because your body was being pulled in every direction (more or less) equally. Or would you simply be ripped apart for some reason that I don't know about?

Thanks

Nope.
