Science fair

Featured Replies

Hi! I'm in the 8th grade working on a science fair project. i was just wondering if it was possible for bacteria inside microwaves to go into the food that you put in it to cook/reheat? I's really appreciate some help. Thank you!

Yeah it is if you have a microwave your family doesn't clean very often you could take a few swabs of the bacteria inside the microwave and put them on a petri dish to grow make sure to leave the lid on when the bacteria start to grow and then dispose of them properly(autoclave) because if you aren't careful you could potentially make yourself sick.
