WM9 in Firefox. Not working

Featured Replies

I should really be posting this on some computer help forum, but i am too lazy to sign up.

Does anyone know how i can get Windows Media Player 9 to work on my Mozilla Firefox browser? It works on Internet Explorer, but when i try to watch videos in Firefox it says "Windows Media Player 9 not detected" or something about downloading a plugin. Its really annoying because Firefox is my only browser i can use, IE has too many popups even though i use Spybot Search&Destroy and Spyware Doctor.

Try this:

Go to Tool->Options and press the button "download" in menu at left.

see there is a list of file types and corresponding pograms to open it. If you see no WM9, then try press the button call "plug-in" at the left bottom of the list

Regards
