BIG ROBOT BATTLE CONTEST - Engineering and programming challenge

Featured Replies

Hi!

Together with friends I started a robot battle contest in which we use LEGO RC robots to battle inside a destructible city ;)We want to make a big show out of it and record it as video ^^

The robots have high power motors and we control them with a 2.4ghz system. So we can use more tanks and robots the same time in missions and races etc. And everything already work. But we also plan autonomous working rescue drones and robots, flying LEGO copters and much more. For building the drones we going to use LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3, and even give building sets away to students and interested builders depending to the kickstarted budget reached.

We already have a prototype running which we show in this video:

And we give away flyers and poster for free as long as we still have some ;-)

The Kickstarter page starts already next wednesday.

Hope to get your feedback,

Rayjunx and the roboter nerd team ^^

Moderator Note

Our rules clearly state that we don't allow advertising or fundraising on this site. After deliberation, however, we're prepared to allow the video (which is ever so awesome) to remain. No more mentions of Kickstarter or pleas for donations will be allowed, and no official endorsement of this project by ScienceForums.net is implied by this one-time exception to our rules.

Discussion is encouraged, as long as there are no more ad links. Anyone who feels this is an unacceptable exception, please feel free to Report this modnote.
