When i select something it wont delete if i press backspace, but will if i press delete. However this wont work either for autotext which then i end up cutting it and not pasting.

 

Any ideas?

Hotkeys possibly... look around for the settings.

Try using word perfect or open office.

 

I think word perfect bought susi and are now free. Not sure though.

 

But Open Office would definitely be an upgrade from m$ word.

Yeah, open office is great. I don't like the spell check as much though. Its not nearly as good as ms office and I use spell check a lot.
