Diy projection tv

Featured Replies

Don't throw out that old lcd display. If the back lights gone or is weak you can still use lcd part of the display to make a projection tv. You will also need an old projector like the school ones. You will need a video output from your dvd/sky box etc that can be connected to the display input like svideo and, the screen obviously needs to be able accept that kind of input. You may also need to place a dumy load on the circuit in place of the back light as some of the driver circuits look for this load before they will operate. Just thought I mention this as it could make a nice project with a cool result. If anyone is interested I'll put up some more info. :)
