Hello, I am a new member as of today. Although I have no degree I live and breath science in several forms. Some of you know me on the net as (Cracker) I run a science supply store, and I wanted to know if any sales ad is allowed here. I have so much to offer a serious science conasure. I also am active in some areas of its community and would like to be a part of the forum here. If someone could let me know if mentioning sale items is excepted here Id like to mention some of our exotic items that are currently on sale. Thank You for reply, I appreciate my new membership. Our rules strictly prohibit the use of the forum for the purposes of advertising, so the short answer to your question is no. We also don't allow you to link to commercial sites on your profile or in your signature.

In addition to what hypervalent_iodine wrote, I want to add that you can find this also in the forum rules. The relevant section is section 2.7, and the relevant phrase is this one:

 

... Users advertising commercial sites will be banned.
