An e-petition has been started to get the British Parliament to name the August Bank Holiday after Alan Turing (as apposed to Margaret Thatcher) With respect to the enormous contribution Turing made to computing as well as his part in the second world war can I please ask members to consider signing the petition. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/59421
