YT2095 Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 my guess would be some sort of cooling aparatus, as seen upside down in your pic, the water for instance would enter at the side "swirl" around evenly and be taken away through the center pipe (the fittings show that`s the direction of flow also). a beaker of flask would rest upon this (the side they`re resting on in your pic) to maintain an even temperature. and if it`s not that, then it must be part of a Flux Capacitor ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
