it seems there is no way to place more attachments into a post after it has been made already. or to add media to "my media" in order to add it to the post without making an entirely new post........ or am i wrong ._. ?

I didnt seem to have any problem - the picture of where I went on my holidays (bonus points for correct ID) was added to a post I was editing 5 mins after initial post.

 

Could you clarify your problem as i cannot seem to replicate it? It could be a time bar for very old posts - let me know which post you were trying to add an attachment to. Was it just a huge file?

It might be best if you put the attachment into a new post (within the same thread/topic, of course). People may miss it if you put additional pictures into a post they've already read. Opening posts can be particularly confusing if you keep editing them after people have already responded to it.
