what distro though but i meant is the comp itself any good plus it dosent have a cd-rom drive

i'd be worried about if it has a 3.5" or the older bigger floppy floppy disk drive, let alone worry about a CD drive ;)

It has a external 3.5 inch floppy but i think i have a way to get linux on it since it has a parallel port find a parallel cd drive and there i go right

Why even bother? Just go and grab yourself a cheap old pentium 3 for 50 quid.

 

this is free and I have less the 3 dollars in my name
