Warfarin administration

Just a plot point that needs verifying for something that I'm writing.

 

To cut a long story short, warfarin is secretly cut with cocaine and administered to a (drug-using) victim in this way.

 

I would just like to confirm before I include this that it would actually work; i.e. can warfarin be absorbed into the blood in this manner?
