Well what does the equation of motion (flow equation) say about the variation of velocity with distance along the x axis?

The original problem was posted as a simple exercise in potential flow theory.

 

But we do not do peoples homework for them, only guide them (hopefully) to a solution.

 

Of course that requires their cooperation. Not all do so.
