Yes! Earth quakes and tsunamis are two different things.

if your talking about that thing that just happened, that was a tsunami - from the result of an earthquake.

Oh dear! Weren't you the one who lives in the Maldives, benzex? The tsunami must have caused floods and major destruction there. I recall at least 55 people being killed, hopefully none of your friends or relatives?

A few people I know who are missing in the aftermath.

 

It's to horrific to focus on, really.
