I need help with the drawing of the Infrared and H-NMR of Doxycycline, the teacher have not give us the material to do the infrared and the H-NMR is for that reason that i dont have any idea. In the internet seach i dont have found anything.

 

Your help my friends can help me to pass the class or not, this homework is the pass for me to Organich Chemistry 2

Yes is very hard, i need to draw the spectra of the Infrared and the H-NMR.

Yes, that looks about right. The IR shouldn't be too difficult. You just need to look at what functional groups you have and see how they would appear on an IR spectra. The NMR is rather a bit more difficult due to the size of the compound, but if you go and have a look at some NMR correlation tables, you should be able to assign where each proton will appear and then from there you would simply look at what kind of multiplicity each one has.

Someone can help to identify what are R and what are S.

 

I found that in wikipedia: (4S,4aR,5S,5aR,6R,12aS) but i dont know where they are, if someone cand get the image in paint and circulate them i will aprecciate.
