You can convert mass into other forms of energy,and vice-versa. For example, an unstable nucleus could break apart and sent particles out with kinetic energy, but there will be a reduction in the mass of that system. So we all have a great amount of potential energy, but since i'm made of stable atoms then its almost impossible to ever use that energy? correct?
