Hi all,

 

Just a quick question regarding agarose gels.

 

How much 1XTBE would you need for 50ml of a 1.5% gel?

 

And would a 1.5% agarose gel be sufficient to run my PCR product which is supposed to be 355bp ?

1) Theoretically you put in the agarose and fill up to the desired volume. Though for practical purposes you can neglect the volume of the agarose.
