What folder does it go in? The main one?

There doesn't seem to be an .ico file in the main folder, so I guess you just change the icon by going into the properties of the .exe in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox and copy/pasting the new icon picture on top.

No, in the taskbar. With all of your favorite buttons. You know, by the start button.

ok.... i dont have any FF icons in the system tray, so thats a bit weird, soz, still dont know what you are talking about, show a print screen or something of where it should be.

Have you tried just dragging the icon from your desktop directly down to the bar? I just plain dragged my Firefox icon there yesterday (though it still shows up on my desktop screen as well), and it was still there when I turned on the computer today.

The icon on my desktop was gone as well.

open notepad and past this:

Command=2

IconFile=explorer.exe,3

[Taskbar]

Command=ToggleDesktop

 

Save the file in

 

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/veedo/Application%20Data/Microsoft/Internet%20Explorer/Quick%20Launch

[or similar]

Windows key + D also works as well.
