Featured Replies

I have to write an abstract for a recently publish paper in Biology. Can you guys give some good papers (scholarly articles) to have a look at? Thanks!

Check out pubmed, webofscience, sciencedirect or even nature.com, depending on what access your institution offers. At what level are we talking about here?

It's gr.12, I'm still in HS. I don't wan't to pay or create an account to view the papers. I just need a scholarly article or an article in general that isn't written by some no-name person.

Try using Google scholar, sometimes you strike it lucky and you find a paper that you can download for free. What's your area of interest though? Micro, biochem, genetics, anatomy etc?

To be honest, you are best off looking for an article yourself via the websites listed in the above posts. This is simply because you are the dictator of what you find interesting or otherwise. I could send you a paper I find interesting, but chances are it will be of very little assistance to you, even ignoring the fact that I am a chemist and have zero interest in biology.

Secondly, due to copyright restrictions, unless the paper is over 50 years old, no one here will be allowed to download it and send it to you. You may very well strike it lucky and find a paper you like the sound of and have access too. Starting with a general topic search in wikipedia could lead you to some good resources for you to start your search.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not going to spend money just to get a paper for a relatively small assignment in gr.12 Bio, so I will just search myself and find something interesting.

This is true, wiki usually gives you access to free resources, albeit slightly dated at times it's still the most useful starting point bar google/scholar
