Italian surgeons have performed the first every full jaw transplant in an 11 hour surgery. An 80 year old man who suffers from a cancerous tumor of the mouth received the jaw bone from a donor, and membrane from the patient's arm was used to recreate his gums. You can find the full article here.

Ethier this 80 year old man is a very selfish, or the donor is a saint.

However; this is good for the medical world. Although, I don't know how many jaw replacements doctors will be preforming per year; anytime something new is done to better someone it's always a win situation. LOVAGE to the PEOPLE.

I thought so, but I didn't read it in the article. I don't think I saw it there.
