light emitted from a flame

Featured Replies

when a flame emits light, does it emit it evenly, or it the light more concentrated in some directions?

Generally it's going to be the same for whatever symmetry you have — a flame typically has azimuthal symmetry, so the light along any azimuthal angle is the same, within the bounds of statistical variation (i.e. noise)
