what is difference between mathematics and statics

The simple example of statistics is like this.

It is almost impossible to measure average weight of man in the world.

In this case statistics is very useful.

Fist we select small number of people in the world as a sample and measure their weight.

And then we calculate the average weight from that data.

The true average weight is existence in the region, some statistical error which is obtained from the statistical calculation + - calculated average weight from the sample.

If we increase the sample size, the statistical error is reduced.

what is difference between mathematics and statics

Statistics is a subset of mathematics which is devoted to understanding the notion of chance.

There'd be some who'd argue that statistics isn't a subset of mathematics in the same way that computer science isn't. Either way, mathematics is a much, much bigger area of study than statistics. Algebra, calculus, set theory, group theory, geometry, topology, operational research - are all mathematics but not statistics.
