I have a essay title, Compare and contrast the actions of Glucagon and Insulin in Type 1 Diabetes, what type of things and topics do you think i could mention ?

I would speak about the concept of balance and equilibrium.

I would mention how physical activity and what is eaten factor into that balance.

I would mention the liver.

I would also mention why and when a diabetic would take insulin and why and when a diabetic would take glucagon.

I would also mention that the abnormally slow mobilization of glucose reserves in the liver in diabetes plays a role in increasing the danger of hypoglycemia, as well as making management of glucose levels more difficult. Glucogon can aid in correcting diabetic hypoglycemia, which accounts for 4 to 6% of all deaths in type 1 diabetics.

Only to Type II diabetes, and it has less to do with mass and more to do with behavior.
