Youtube Tags Buggered Up with Upgraded SFN Version

Featured Replies

The Youtube tags used in threads from the old version are all buggered. Now, instead of a video appearing within the thread, all we see is the Video ID.

See example in OP here:

Can this be corrected so the video once again appears as intended by the author?

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

??

I'm not sure what's up with that, but I noticed a few minutes ago that just pasting the full YouTube "share" link (the entire URL) triggers the board to replace it with the video. No tag required. I know this doesn't answer the question about why they didn't port over correctly.

I'm pasting "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H98xg6HS91s"'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H98xg6HS91s" below, without the quotation marks.

Appreciate the reply, Pangloss, but I was already aware of that. I'm asking specifically about the old site version where we used Youtube tags... Like this:

H98xg6HS91s

Those videos no longer appear, instead we only see the VideoID within the post, and it fucks with the flow of the thread... a lot. Wonder if it can be fixed.

H98xg6HS91s

I don't know... Perhaps I should just abandon the idea that this is going to be addressed, and content myself with the consistent non-response to requests to staff for assistance?

Hi.

Hey... There he is.

So, nice to hear from you. Your thoughts on the thread topic, Cap'n?

Scroll up?

Sorry. I'm not following. Will you please elaborate?

I see clearly that youtube tags used in the post above now seem to work fine after whatever edit you made to my post, but old posts (as referenced in the OP) do not work fine.
