Please have a look at the attached image. What could be the reasons for the bulb not glowing? One reason is the use of a weak electrolyte.....what could be the other reasons?

The battery itself has no power enough for that bulb. Try a LED instead, it glows with a few milliamperes.

The amount of wet surface area on the electrodes is too small, better use foil.

If different metals as electrodes, could be reversed polarity fighting against the battery potential.

Could also be corroded electrodes.

You could use a multimeter reading d.c. current instead of the bulb. set to a scale which would be too high and increase the sensitivity of the meter until you get a reading. This would provide more information about what is going wrong (if anything).
