I've been postponing this question for fear of being punished. I know i shouldn't care, but i did pride myself in the title of being the 6th top thread starter, and now you take my credentials? how dare you! or did you just relocate it and i'm just too stupid to find it?

While I don't know the reasoning behind the decision to remove the stats page i applaud it. Stats tend to fuel spam posts as people try to clamber up the 'ladder', which would detract from the general level of professionalism that I believe should be maintained in order to keep this site an interesting and informative trove of knowledge/ideas/opinions and questions.

i never knew such a page existed. although there are the general stats on the home page. but i think that sayo's number of 7,000 and sumin posts is a bit high for everyone to try and match!

I think it was just because we changed the forum portal. blike's working on something (I think).

Don't know. I would think so, but then again I don't know where Tampa is in repsect to where the hurricane is hitting.

if you read the hurrincane francis thread, blike said that he wasnt gonna die, but he might get some high power winds, not the actual hurricane itself though, so goody for blike for the 2nd time now!

I think Tampa's the other side of Florida, but I guess as Francis moves up, he'll get more and more of it. Reportedly about 2m homes are without power now though, so that could be one of the problems.
