Was wondering if there is a relationship/correlation between the types of radiation and elements/nuclei

 

Heavy nuclei tend to alpha decay. Beta decays are correlated with neutron abundance or deficiency; a given N/Z ratio implying one or the other changes with mass of the nucleus. Almost any nucleus can emit a gamma.
