Hello All,

perhaps you could assist me with this puzzle...

If I release 1 cubic meter of an air bubble under sea level within the water, what would be the maximum depth that would yeald an elevation force (what is the critical statics point of the bubble), and how would I culculate its elevation force

Thank's

Ram

As long as the bubble is less dense than the water, there will be a bouyancy force (equal to the difference in weight of the bubble and the water it displaces)
