Where A is a constant, Q1 and Q2 are the charges and r is the seperation of the charges.

 

Please can any one offer some assistance in making A the subject of the equation? And to find the units of A

Wouldn't A just be the Coulomb constant?

Making A the subject is very simple algebra - not sure how I could help without feeding you the answer!

Rearrange the equation to solve for A (multiply or divide by the other terms, as appropriate). You'll need to know the unit of force (broken down) and the units of charge and distance.

Substituting these units into the above equation gives the unit of A
