When do you think well be able to harness photons completely?

Featured Replies

Think of all the possibilities, to be able to perfectly control photons on a atomic scale. we would be able to make "live" robots or nanobots. if we were able compress photons so much that they became a "solid" substance.... what properties do you think it would have? Or even the thought of "faster than light" space travel if we can create a "gap" big enough to have a ship in. ideas on how to do so well mine would be creating a "solid" shield of solidified photons. Energy cannot dissapear, photon are a type of energy as well so when you go somewhere that is completely dark light always gets in while you are entering so when you seal the area where does that energy go? also the idea of being able to "split" a photon like an atom to harness its energy or *possibly* creating a black hole.
