Deformed Reflections

If an image is reflected by a surface which bends according to a particular function, can one, based on this function, know how the image is deformed, and reverse the deformation? How? (Formula etc.)

Yes, absolutely. How to do this is based upon the formulas found here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geometric_optics

I don't know any specific computer programs which can reverse a deformation, although I am sure it is possible. Perhaps photoshop?

Definitely. Telescopes and the giant laser on a plane that the DOD is developing use this to correct for distortions in the atmosphere. They use a laser as a guide and then bend mirrors to adjust the focus.
