If a material object travels faster than the speed of light as measured in a co-moving inertial reference frame then it is possible to find an inertial frame in which the object is moving backwards in time. If that is what you are asking about?

yes that is exactly what i am looking for but i can't understand why that actually happens as in why it travels backwards in time

The easiest way to see this is to draw a Minkowski diagram.

 

If you draw a line corresponding to a particle moving faster that the speed of light (the 45 degree line) you can find another frame in which the particle moves backwards in time.

 

Have a play about with the diagrams, have fun.

It only "seems" like it's traveling in the past because your reference point is ahead of it.
