Thymoquinone is not soluble in water. What solvent can be used to make a concentrated solution from 99% thymoquinone powder.

There are lots of possible solvents. What do you want to do with the solution?

I want to put the solution in nanoparticles, and test it for drug delivery.

is thymoquinone soluble in polar solvent like methanol?

I'm sure DMSO will dissolve it pretty well, however it is somewhat toxic.

Since you are using it to deliver it to animals the best way is to find a solvent that will not be toxic and can be easily metabolized by the animal.
