you could try replacing nssutil3.dll you'll have to use another browser to get it though.

I have chrome, but how do I replace nssutil3.dil?

Just download Firefox again from mozilla.com and install it on top of your previous install. Something borked your DLL -- perhaps you ran an update and it crashed halfway through?

nothing as such. It was working really nicely. I restarted my computer because it was hanging on so much and after that it din't work.

download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the Mozilla Firefox folder which is located in Program Files Folder (that is located in your main drive which contains the installed windows)

Er. That link goes to uxcore.dll, not nssutil3.dll. In any case, the safest route is to get it from a new Firefox install, since you're guaranteed to get the correct version.

Personally, I'd be leery of some of these people who joined up today just to help you solve your problem. I would trust the Cap'n's advice, do a new install.

 

I think the links from the two newcomers should be disabled. We already know one of them is untrustworthy.

Firefox is a good web browser..when u open it didn't open means it is missing some dll file..it is better for u to first uninstall it then reinstall it..ur problem might be fixed..
