If one accepts your definition of 'man made', then clearly the answer is "both".

People are natural. Animals are all made by their parents, but we do not say that they horse made for example.

'Man made' usually refers to artificial or constructed substances/objects. Humans are neither.

Glider is correct. Manmade just refers to materials not naturally formed without some kind of human intervention. That's a natural behavior of ours, though, but we don't call them natural simply to distinguish purely naturalistic processes of design from human design.

natural i guess. To be man made you would have to build a human rather than grow one

neither, it would be a case of Man manipulating a natural proccess (it wouldn`t work otherwise).
