ok so lets say this is methyl:

R-CH3

and this is ethyl:

R-CH2(CH3)

then what is this?

R-CH(CH3)(CH3)

idk if you can imagine it, its like a methyl group,

with two of the hydrogens replaced by methyl groups.

onequestion - It's important to remember that this is a forum, not a chat room. What happens is you post your question, and when others login they will read it. However, if they don't know the answer, they generally won't respond. It's only when someone actually knows the answer to your question that they will respond to it, and that can take hours, or even days before happening.

People live their lives, hang out with friends, tend to chores, etc... and then when they have a spot of free time they may login here to SFN to see what's happening. Hopefully for you, when they do, they will see your thread and help you out. (Plus, you posted on Saturday night! :D )

SFN hugely makes up in quality and content what you may fault it for in delay of response. Hopefully you'll hang around long enough to learn that. Welcome to the boards. :)
