hi people, i really need to know how you work this question out, ive tried and tried please help, for my exam thanks

 

a particle A of mass 0.5kg suspended by a verticle string. A particle B of mass 0.4kg is suspended from A by means of another string. A force of 10N is applied to the upper string and the particles move upwards. Find the tension and the acceleration of the system.
