A good suggestion to practice when considering purchasing fish aquariums and fish would be to research the various fish and the different needs in caring for the fish. Once everything checks out and is ready, you can now in small amounts start to add your fish to your aquarium

I didn't do any of this but one of my cats is still fascinated by my tank. She sits and stares like a couch potato with a sitcom.

 

If I had done more research before purchasing my fish, perhaps my cat would be more intellectually challenged.

Thanks for the info! I'm sure I will use this for when I ever decide to get my own aquarium :D
