one of the most horrible things I've ever heard

Featured Replies

I just read this story in the newspaper.

Marie-Charlotte Renaud and Benjamin Pizem were married in France and had a daughter, Rose Pizem. Benjamin Pizem was an orphan (I think) with an estranged father living in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The couple and their daughter went to go find this father and, somehow or another, The Mother, Marie-Charlotte, wound up becoming lovers with Pizem's father, Ronny Ron.

Ben Pizem originally took Rose back with him to France, but he subsequently lost a custody battle to his wife (yes, the wife who left him for his own father, who originally abandonned him).

I guess its not enough to get stabbed in the back by the person who you had already betrayed you. Because little Rose went missing last May.

Israeli police found her body stuffed into a little red suitcase which had been dumped into a River in Tel Aviv.

Mr. Ron originally confessed to the murder but later retracted the statement, saying he had been coerced.

Whatever happened (and I have no doubt the Israeli police will figure it out) this has to be one of the most depressing stories I've ever heard.

Dang. That sucks.

I'm somewhat confused as to how an orphan has an estranged father, though.

oops... incorrect application of the word "orphan" by me. Apologies.
