please ignore the periods, i can't make normal spaces without making this weird. Is this 2,2 ,5,6 - tetramethlyheptane?

Looks like one carbon is bonded with three C and three H.

 

Anyway that aside, it is indeed a 2,2,5,6-tetramethylheptane.

yep its tetra methyl heptane and we seriously need a way to put in chemical structures on this forum, that already looks bad.(not the fault of Snail13579 though)

the best way would be to use a free chemical drawing program and then save as a bitmap or jpg and upload the image. Time consuming but probably the only option. Including a structural drawing program in the forum's design would probably be expensive, if i were to guess.

 

Unless of course we have a very bored computer programmer with time on his/her hands?
