what does "pwn" in "pwned" mean? Forgive me as I'm a bit out of the loop....

That's hilarious. n00bs are only to be pwned by more experienced players! But the machine?!? That's just embarrassing...

Yeah, AI never compares to the 1337 players, but n00bs manage to get pwnd by the AI all the time.
