I was reading a wikipedia article, and supposedly celery seed has healing effects on types of arthritis. Does anyone know why and how this is? Does anyone understand the way the seeds act and react with the body to create these effects?

well it Did say by elimination of uric acid.

I`m actually Glad you found this, as a Gout sufferer (and also in possesion of a large bag of these seeds) I`m going to Try this out myself

Sorry to be pedantic, but for the sake of accuracy, it says celery "is often used for the relief of symptoms" (of arthritis, rheumatism etc.). It does not mention healing.
