Featured Replies

Hello everybody, i've viewed variuos bags of fertilizer and i wanted to know if amonical nitrogen is ammonium nitrate. if anybody knows what i'm talking about i would like to know what this is. thanks

No, its not the same thing! A quick google revealed that ammoniacl nitrogen is NH3-N, as opposed to ammonium nitrate (common fertiliser) which is NH4-NO3

Happy gardening,

it`s usualy termed as a percentage, for instance Ammonium sulphate or phosphate will have X% of Ammoniacal nitrogen, it`s simply a way of stating what Form the Nitrogen is contained as.
