FF2 ok in Vista?

Featured Replies

I've been messing around with a copy of Vista I got from the school, and I was just wondering if anybody here has had a chance to load up Firefox 2.0 in Vista yet. Did it work ok or are we waiting for a service release?

Thanks!

It occasionally stops responding for a short period of time but other than that it works fine for me.

Please read this .It tells us the truth.
No it doesn't, it is a lot of speculation and people saying "try this".

FF3 will have far improved Vista compatibility.
I assume it will, but isn't that a little way off (read: long time)?

I expect any Vista-related issues will be resolved fairly quickly. Although I'm recommending most casual computers users (who ask) that they wait and stick with XP for a while, I think we'll probably see a lot of new computers ship with Vista very soon, and those people need to be able to run Firefox as well. (Need! heh)
