I was wondering on a concept thats probably been discussed before but I can't find it the search.

Is it possible to make material (on the scale of average day material) similiar to particle bombardment (Not exactly but...). If you have the control, and the technology, could you fuse and condense matter of a specific element to a specific point and allow it to grow from that point? And even more advance procedures that would allow you to make the perfect structure? And lastly could you yield enough material to even make it worth while?
