having trouble with USB Flash Drive

Featured Replies

I used my USB Flash Drive and transferred some files from my computer. Then later, when I have to remove the device, I noticed that the My Documents folder was already in my memory stick. I can't delete or transfer it to the computer. What might be wrong? I swear I did not send the folder to the Flash Drive.

try formatting the flashdrive(take important stuff of first)

and are you using the same OS on each computer?

Somtimes things screw up. It doesn't automatically trasnfer all documents just to have a backup copy does it? I know that all some people use it for.

I realized the computer has a virus. I'll ask some expert to clean it for me. thanks a lot.

I toasted the supposedly foolproof flash USB "cigarette lighter", and did have virus stuff eating me up. I run AVAST; what do folks think of Dr.Web, and SPYBOT?
